Ok, so somehow I have managed to pack everything I need into a backpack around 35 pounds, and a smaller backpack, including about an eight pound first aid kit! This is also the last post from the US, I promise! I leave tomorrow at 4:50 from JFK, it looks like I will have minimal issues with weather, and I won't be back until June 4th. I am starting to feel anxious and excited finally. I have my two response essays on the book City of Djinns and one the film Gandhi, and I have finally gotten a better grasp the Hindi alphabet.
I guess I am in that stage where I just hope I am not forgetting anything essential, but the point of no return is approaching. I am not sure what lies ahead, but I guess that is part of the point and I'm sure I will learn a lot. Stay in touch! Comment! E-mail! Much love to all of you!
